Britches

Britches was an adorable playful kitten that Jonathan and I were given as a gift. She was very young when we got her. She was so small that my best friend hid her in her sweatshirt pocket when she came in the house, and told me that she needed to talk to me so we went into the bedroom and she pulled out this adorable kitten. She hid in the bedroom for a while as there were 6 adults and a toddler living in the house at the time. She was Jonathan's first cat. The people we were living with at the time had a cat, but it was outside most of the time, and didn't really like to be messed with so Jonathan had not had much experiance with cats. It was fun to watch him learn to play with the kitten and the kitten learn to play with Jonathan.

Britches became a big hit around the house very quickly. We had a religious meeting being held in the house once week at the time, and everyone would ask for her to be let out of the bedroom as soon as the meeting was over. She loved to run around and get attention from all the guests. Everyone 'cooed' at how Jonathan would run around trying to say britches name as it didn't come out right coming from a young toddler.

Britches was a pretty white and striped tabby who had a lot of spunk and playfullness. She got along well with other animals and with kids. When I moved in with my daughters father he had two small dogs that she got along great with. She didn't like the move too much tho, so one day she got outside because John didn't shut the door and she ran away, I'm guessing she ran back to our old house that she knew of as home. As with several of my cats, all I can do is hope that she found a loving home to take care of her.
