Hi! My name is Kaitlyn!

 

I was born August 17, 1997. A bright and healthy baby girl. My big brother was 3 years old when I was born. My mommy says that I was the most beautiful baby girl she has ever seen. I lived in a small apartment with brother and mommy right after I was born, but mommy didn't like the complex very much so we soon moved in with my Auntie Kelly and my cousins Cris and Zach. I had lots of fun watching the boys play together. They used to make me laugh a lot. When I was almost a year old mommy moved us into our own apartment again, it was hard adjusting to a quiet apartment with just mommy and brother being there. I had grandma nut nut and auntie and my cousins to keep me occupied before. In time I adjusted though. Before mommy could turn around I was running through the house making mischief of my own like every toddler should. I loved to follow brother around and imitate him. He was funny to watch because he was always doing silly things.

Sometimes, brothers silly things get too silly, and scarey, and he ends up going to the hospital for a while. I really miss him when he's gone. Mommy took me to see him once while he was in the hospital and I cried a whole lot when we had to leave him there, so I haven't got to go back. He hasn't been in the hospital for about a year now so thats good! Brother has Pediatric Bipolar Disorder, to read more about it you can look at his web page.

I have grown up quicker than mommy wanted me to. Before mommy knew it I was starting preschool. I had a lot of fun in preschool, I learned very quickly. Mrs Mary was my favorite teacher. Her and I got along so well! I still go by the preschool every now and then to see her. Last time I was there she told me to bring a book next time so I can read to the kids, that will be fun! My teachers at school say I am a very good reader. I am one of the top readers in my class. I like school and I have had a lot of nice teachers. Mommy says I get good grades in every subject, even math!

I am a good helper too, I like to help do dishes and sweep the floor. I even sweep sometimes without anyone asking me to. I help keep the front room clean and help brother clean his room. I don't really like cleaning my room though because its not just mine, its mommys stuff too. If I had my own room I think I would have more fun cleaning it.
