Tallie was a beautiful Tortishell Tabby who lived to be a year and 10 months old. I adopted her through a very loving adoption center by the name of RAIN (Rescuing Animals In Need). Several months after I adopted her, she began losing significant amounts of weight. I finally contacted RAIN and got the information for the veterinary doctor she had seen when she was with them and got her in to see him. They did blood work and it came back that she probably had FIP (Feline Immune Peritonitis). There was no absolutley positive test they could do except for a post morbid test. She lived for about two months after she was diagnosed. Watching her deteriorate was one of the hardest things I have ever done. She was such a beautiful loving cat, who gave her all to everything she did. She will be missed forever.
Tallie was a beautiful, playful, spirited baby. She loved to play, and roll and run. She never really got along with Bailey, but that didnt stop her from living her life to the fullest. She would chase balls all over the house. She would pounce on anything that moved to play with it. I woke up many nights to her playing with my feet under the covers. Even though Bailey was not to fond of her she would run around and try to get Bailey to play with her. Her favorite place was on your lap, it didn't matter who you were, if you were in her house she wanted on your lap and you to pet her. She startled some people though as she had a habit of play biting while she was playing. She never meant any harm by it. She loved the kids, and would chase them around the house whenever she had the opportunity. She took advantage of every moment she had and she lived her short little life to the fullest extent possible. She was a very special kitty, everyone who she met loved her... and it was easy to see why.
